Hello friends. This was a difficult message to write...

It is important that we all do our part to protect our communities and prevent the spread of this virus.

We rewrote this post originaly meant to reassure about our safety measures, to provide different services through pick up and take away encouraging support your local but we must look beyond the bottom line and immediate situation and stay strong for our community and our future.

With this in mind effective immediately, Tuesday, March 17th, Hello Stranger and Hello Gorgeous will be closed. This decision is not made lightly, we have always prided ourselves on providing comfort through our service but it is our responsibility to prioritize the health and safety of our staff and guests.

This is unchartered territory and we are doing the best we can to insure our future. We are determined to take measures now and do our part to ensure we get back to doing what we love as soon as safely possible. Our emails will be open should you wish to discuss current bookings and future events.

Welcome Stranger!

Located down an unassuming street in the heart of Helsinki, Hello Stranger was born with selfish thoughts in mind. We wanted a place that we never wanted to leave. So, we opened a restaurant and a lounge, and when Finnish weather allows, a terrace!

We wanted a place we could come for drinks, come for food and always, above all always feel good from the service.

We follow a simple formula; relaxed atmosphere, satisfying drinks and a stellar team.

Come as a stranger and leave as a friend.

It seems that the whole world is jumping on the burger train - and so are we! From 30.10. onwards, we will be running a pop up in Hello Stranger called Burgers & Wine!

Why? Well because we believe that in times of trouble people look for comfort and familiarity. We believe that two heads are better than one and that teamwork is key. So we’re getting together with the guys from Deluxe Burgers and Pizza.

We will keep on serving you those amazing cocktails and classy wines along with the friendly service you have gotten used to - and the Deluxe guys will take care of the food side. So come as a stranger, leave as a friend, and have a good old burger with some cocktails in between."

We pride ourselves on fresh juices, house made syrups and a curated list of spirits. Our bartenders are experienced and passionate, always smiling and up for chat.

In the ever-evolving wine world our team strives to keep a balance of new world and old world. We select vintages from across the world. Our enthusiastic team are able to lend you their expertise through our selection, ensuring you find the right taste for your palate

As both the “by the glass” list and bottle lists are ever evolving they are not listed on the website. However, you can always contact us to discuss any particular needs.
